  • Overview

    TCC is currently seeking a part-time HR Generalist to work a flexible four days per week schedule with potential for full-time.  The HR Generalist will assist with a number of HR functions such as staffing, employee relations, employee engagement and retention, performance management, training and development. 

    Responsibilities

    • Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment process
    • Develop onboarding and training plans for new hires
    • Develop annual plans for training & development of current staff
    • Provide support to managers and employees in various HR related topics such as performance, goal setting, engagement, recruitment, etc.
    • Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies
    • Update the employee performance appraisal forms and process
    • Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics
    • Conduct employee off boarding, maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form

    Qualifications

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree required.

     

    Experience

    • Proven experience as HR Generalist – minimum 7 to 10 years

    • Understanding of general HR policies and procedures
    • Ability to forge strong relationships with managers and staff
    • Possess a strong strategic mindset
    • Ensure that all HR needs of the company are being met and are aligned with business objectives
    • Good knowledge of local employment and labor laws
    • Excellent communication and people skills
    • Ability to challenge status quo with leaders
    • Aptitude in problem solving
    • Desire to work as team with a results driven approach
    • Ability to manage and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
    • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
    • Sense of humor and commitment to ensuring a congenial, collaborative, and respectful work place
    • Any additional HR training / certification will be a plus

    Location: NYC – Midtown

     

    Employment Type:  Flexible 4 days a week with potential for full-time.  

     

    Salary: Commensurate with experience
